The "bullnose" Morris Oxford is a series of motor car models produced by Morris of the United Kingdom, from 1913 to 1926. It was named by W R Morris after the city in which he grew up and which his cars were to industrialise. The Oxford, and its close relation, the Continental-engined Cowley, evolved gradually, both models switching to engines made by Hotchkiss's Coventry subsidiary in 1919. A close copy of the Continental, the Hotchkiss engine was made in 1,495cc, 11.9hp form.
